A
rich and exotic scent using recipes found on the walls of Egyptian
temples. Kyphi is a blend of magical resins, sacred woods, raisins,
honey, and wine. Burn to honor the divine or during sacred rights.
Incense was a regular part of ceremony and honoring the divine for the Egyptians. Kyphi (or
Kapet) was one of the widest used incenses by the Egyptians and many recipes are found inscribed on the walls in the temples of Edfu and
Philae. Kyphi was most commonly used in evening rituals to welcome the night.
This
incense is not self igniting- it is to be burned on a charcoal tablet.
Burning instructions are on the inside of each Kyphi package label.
